I'm a bibliophia who enjoy reading and collecting books as much as possible. Books take a lot of place in my heart, my life and my souuul, i can not imagine going out and not having a book in my bag, cause there's always an opportunity to read somewhere during the day ...
Les Hauts de Hurlevent - Frédéric Delebecque, Emily Brontë
— feeling sad
So It.s a novel and the story takes place in the "Landes of Yorkshire", a calm and soothing place where the neighborhood is small, and there on top of a hill the house of Mr. Earnshaw called "Hurlevent" who lived there with his two children, the housekeeper and maids, he was often away traveling for work and one day He brought with him a little dark and messy boy in poor condition, and since; he's been a part of the family and he became one of them, most particularly the favorite one of the father Earnshaw. Obviously his two children Hindley and Catherine was so jealous of the stranger, came out of nowhere, who settled within their family and attract all the attention of their dear father, therefore he was abused by both of them at the beginning, and especially by Hindley since a very affectionate friendship began to settle between Catherine and Heathcliff the young intruder, the story takes place between those two who fell in love a few years later but as her beloved were uneducated, lacked discipline and above all he was poor; She agreed to marry Edgar Linton descendant of the family living at "Thrushcross Grange "not far from "Hurlevent" who has all these required qualities. Following this unfortunate event Heathcliff disappeared for a few years to reappear after becoming the kind of man desired by Catherine, and his ultimate goal was to make their life a hell and take his revenge from those two families and the book tells how he has got to Catherine, his brother and their children to seize all their fortune and wealth...! Well I found the story so sad because it shows that in seeking just the superficial aspect in a relationship and neglecting the importance of feelings ... it could leads not only to his own misfortune ; but worse ; of that an entire family and descendants by creating a real atomic bomb like Heathcliff ... In fact I really loved the story it's interesting and so captivating cause it was hard to put the book down once I started reading, you just want to know what happen next and the end of this tragically story! Well for those who haven't read it yet, I hope I haven't spoiled you a lot ... and enjoy reading :)
